Strawberry Cough Origin and Genetics

Strawberry Cough Feminized Seeds for sale from Seedsman by Dutch Passion

Strawberry Cough is a creation of the cannabis breeder Kyle Kushman. It consists of Strawberry Fields and Haze genetics. According to Kushman, the parent Strawberry Fields clone had been grown next to a strawberry patch in New England. He was amazed by the strain’s pungent strawberry scent, proceeding to cross it to a Haze variety. The resulting plants were called Strawberry Cough, a name that received much popularity in NYC’s underground cannabis markets. Kushman later moved out West and handed out clones of Strawberry Cough along the way. Over time, marijuana seed distributors began to release their own versions of Strawberry Cough marijuana seeds. The strain has won numerous awards, including Best Flower in the 2013 Cannabis Cup. Buy Strawberry Cough feminized seeds today to grow this top breed marijuana strain.

Outstanding strain! Grew exactly like I wanted it to. I increased my nutrient feeding and it really paid off. The smell is very strong so be prepared if you’re going to grow this beast indoors.

  2. Glenn A.

3rd year in a row I’ve grown strawberry cough seeds and they have never let me down! Love this strain!!!

  3. Buck

These babies came through with flying colors! They grew quickly and produced lots of wonderful buds. Really enjoyed the flavor and aroma of this one. Will definitely order some more Strawberry Cough seeds in the future!

  4. Ray H.

I got these strawberry cough seeds last month and germinated 5 of them. They all sprouted no problem and are growing very well. Now they are over 2 feet! Can’t wait to try it. Should be good. I’m gonna keep the best pheno to clone and go from there.

  5. Jesse P.

I’ve grown a few different strains of weed in my day but this Strawberry Cough strain is by far the most fragrant and tastiest I’ve run across. Each plant is perfect in its own way. I guess you really can’t go wrong with these seeds.

  6. Sylvia

The yield was far above anything I expected. Buds are really sticky and dank and have a super sweet strawberry taste. The high is very strong but not too heavy.

  7. Zachary N.

I grew some of these in Oregon 3 years ago when I was still living there and they were the best weed I ever smoked.

  8. Ty C.

This strain is probably the best tasting, smelling and some of the easiest to grow weed there is. My Strawberry Coughs grow bushy and flower fast with a lot of buds everywhere.

  9. Chuck

I was very happy with these Strawberry Cough seeds. They were very good quality (no duds in my pack) and they produced a lot of really nice flavorsome buds. I am definitely going to continue growing these babies.

  10. Len M.

Me and my wife wanted to grow our own weed and we got these and wow we were impressed. The strain is the best and growing them was so easy. They smell so good when flowering.

  11. Fred W.

Got all 5 Strawberry Cough seeds grown out and they were a breeze to grow. The smell when the plants start blooming is just incredible! The taste is also great, tastes exactly like strawberries!!

  12. Bert D.

My strawberry cough plants are really starting to bloom now, nice big buds forming and beginning to swell. The smell is so enticing it makes your mouth water. Almost like strawberry candy, very pleasing and one of my favorite things about this weed strain.

  13. Ed K.

Strawberry cough is the best tasting and best smelling strain I’ve ever grown. I’m going to order another pack of seeds now that I know how good they are. This is a great strain for beginners who want something easy to grow and not too much work. Highly recommended!

  14. Devin B.

I am very impressed with these seeds. They grew really well and were very resistant plants. Buds are so frosty and have a great strawberry taste and smell.

  15. Ken F.

A very good strain of cannabis for first time or low-maintenance growers. Easy to grow, smells and tastes great, and produces a nice amount of bud. I’ll be growing these seeds again for sure.

  16. Andrew R.

This is my first time growing out seeds or any cannabis at all and I’m so glad that I did because it gave me some really nice buds that I’m enjoying now! I would say this strain beats what’s for sale at the dispensaries around here!

  17. Paul A.

Strawberry Cough is a must try strain for every cannabis grower. It has the famous strawberry taste and great effects too. I’ve grown the seeds many times before and it always seems to do well in every situation.

  18. Kelsey L.

These flowers came out great!! Every seed sprouted and I had no problem getting them to bloom after transplanting them into the garden. They look amazing and their scent is even better! Can’t wait until my next crop comes in!

  19. Michael D.

All 5 of my Strawberry Cough seeds germinated quickly and grew fast. It was easy to grow indoors and produced more than enough bud for what I was aiming for. Quite a remarkable strawberry terpene profile that makes it stand out from the crowd.

  20. Tara G.

Fragrant, sweet and fruity! We just harvested 3 Strawberry Cough plants, each with 12-15 ounces of premium grade stuff. Will buy seeds again to grow soon!

  21. Rob E.

One of the best flavor profiles I’ve come across yet. The strawberry taste is very prominent and the aroma is the same. The high starts in the head and goes to your toes, it’s a very active high that energizes you but doesn’t make you feel like you have the jitters. The plant is a good size with light green buds that are dusted with red and orange hairs. It nice amount of crystals and A+ grade bag appeal.

  22. Manuel C.

Very forgiving weed strain, it took well to fertilizer and grew fast. Lots of branching and big healthy colas. Buds are covered with trichomes and have a sweet berry perfume. Smoke is smooth and heady high.

  23. MojoResin

Great grow, not too difficult. Little bit of a slow start but they picked up the pace and all of them grew dense, delicious looking buds. Smells like strawberries when ripe. Seems to be a happy and up high, very enjoyable.

  24. Jeff P.

I recommend picking up some Strawberry Cough seeds to grow if smell and flavor is your top priority. It’s a winner for sure in that aspect. But IMO the buds don’t weigh out as heavy as other hybrids, neither does it have the super high THC content so there’s a tradeoff. Still it’s a superb smoke and very desirable.

  25. Clinton

Good seeds, grew strong plants with lots of vigor. Quality, flavor, aroma and high are all A+ would certainly grow this Strawberry Cough again.

  26. Jay B.

Actually tastes like strawberry! I grew Dutch passions strawberry cough in my backyard. I started them late in July so they didn’t get very tall for the season but wow..the buds are unbelievable! Looking to buy more seeds..

  27. Ryan H.

I grew Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough fem seeds about three years ago. They all appeared very sativa in growth and bud structure. Yield was slightly below average, and the flowering time was long at nearly three months, but the sweet aroma and beautiful buds made it worth waiting for. No problems with mold or hermaphrodites. High was clear headed and functional.

  28. David J.

I have been growing this plant for a while. It is definitely a outdoor favorite and usually one of the first strains to run out. A must for strawberry lovers!

  29. Craig M.

This strain was a surprise, a pleasant one though. It was a bit of a slow grower for me as far as vegging and flowering times are concerned. However the wait was worth it. The high is very uplifting and energetic. I like to smoke in the mornings because it sets me up for the day, this is my go to strain. It smells like strawberries and fruit loops, and it tastes just as good too.

  30. Trent

Great all around strain. Grew 3 of these last outdoor season end of may through mid october. Grew them side by side with blue cheese, diesel and laughing buddha. The one thing I really love about strawberry cough is how well they do even with lower than average light. I did end up topping one of the plants but it was more to keep it short than anything. Out of the 10 plants I grew the strawberry coughs were in the middle of the pack for yield. I got about 10Oz from each one which is more than enough for personal use and to share with friends. Very fruity and a nice high that is not too over the top. It’s a great strain that smells and tastes like it’s name. If your looking for a good strawberry type hybrid these are defiently worth the try.
