Scary to aphids, but entertaining for kids and adults to watch. Tenodera sinenis. The Praying Mantis is an adored beneficial insect that will eat most bugs including mites, insect eggs, and aphids. Will also eat good bugs within reach. Each egg case contains approximately 200 baby mantids that will hatch in about 8 weeks in a warm location. Place out to hatch in an open container by July 1st. Order by June 15th.
