In our organic greenhouse, we use bat guano to supply needed phosphorus to our transplants.
1-10-0.2 Phosphorus-rich Jamaican Bat Guano gives blooming flowers and ripening fruit a boost by heightening root and bud development. Bat droppings (guanos) are a rich source of fertilizer that restore a natural balance in the garden without increasing soil salt content or acidity. Beneficial bacteria, insects, and earthworms will stick around, further improving your soil by distributing organic matter and aerating the subsoil. Can be used to amend soil, create a guano tea to apply directly to the plant's roots, or as a top dressing. Mix 1-4 tablespoons per gallon of water, or broadcast dry 5 pounds per 100 square feet.
