German Red-Organic DescriptionThe gold standard for garlic that is grown where winters are particularly cold and harsh. German Red produces medium/large sized heads tinged in brownish red wrappers. While this rocambole type may not store as long as some of its counterparts, it makes up for it in strong, full bodied garlic flavor. Garlic is shipped only in the fall-late September or early October, depending on the season. Quantities are limited so order early. Sorry, not available to Idaho or Canada.
