Egyptian Walking Onion-Organic DescriptionThis is one member of the Allium family that is extremely versatile. The tops can be used in early spring as green onions. The red topsets that form in the summer can be used fresh in dishes that call for small onions. The underground bulbs can be used in the same manner as the common onion. Bulblets per ounce: 20-35 but this can vary based on seasonal conditions. The Egyptian Walking onion is shipped only in the fall-late September or early October, depending on the season. Quantities are limited so order early. Sorry, not available to Idaho or Canada.
