Each summer, our farm crew spends hundreds of hours weeding and grooming our certified organic research and seed production fields and under these conditions, a tool's quality (or shortcomings) shows itself pretty fast. We have used many different tools over the years and never has there been such excitement over a line of had tools. Extra-long handles are designed to increase reach and to reduce back and neck strain. The razor-sharp, hand-forged, steel blades are practically indestructible. In total, these commercial/grower-quality tools turn cultivating into a smooth, almost effortless motion. Price note: These will probably be some of the most expensive tools you'll ever buy. They are imported from Holland and are made by the best tool hand-forger in Europe. The handles are hand-sorted ash hardwood, the strongest wood for tools.

Designed for cutting weeds and cultivating just below the surface. The very sharp forged edges make it possible to do so without digging into the soil. Head is 1 3/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches and the overall length is 72 inches.
