Extra deep, 5 inch cells allow tender plants to stretch their roots straight rather than having the roots turn back on themselves as they may do in conventional, shallow-celled trays. A simple yet ingenious design, the hinged trays split the cells in half to reveal developing root systems, and allows gentle extraction of developed plants with minimal disturbance. Kit includes a holding tray, propagation lid, and 8, 4 cell packs for a total of 32 propagation cells. The entire kit measures 14 1/2 inches long, 8 3/4 inches wide, and 7 inches high with the lid.
