Onions - Onion-Red Baron-Organic

Allium cepa 60 days. In its young scallion stage, the attractive glossy burgundy-purple skin and mild onion flavor make this a tasty and colorful addition to salads. As the plant continues to grow, small bulbs form which can be harvested throughout the summer. If you can overwinter onions in your garden, Red Baron forms 3-4 inch bulbs the following spring with deep reddish interior rings that match its skin color. A sustained shelf-life means longer storage than other red onions.
