Brassica oleracea, Botrytis Group 65-70 days. A superior open-pollinated variety that was bred in Western Oregon. Umpqua is a superb choice for early spring to late summer broccoli production. The broad, dark green heads can reach a whopping 10 inches across; enough for a family-sized meal and more. An added benefit to home gardeners is Umpqua's ability to produce abundant side shoots for a long harvest window.
