Culture of these magnificent marvels is relatively simple, as they thrive in a variety of media including hardwood chips and straw. Positioned in the garden amongst leafy veggies or rows of corn, this variety breaks down the mulch, making vital nutrients available to its neighboring crops. The Garden Giant is undaunted by temperatures where some mushrooms don't produce, fruiting from 40-90°F. Takes approximately 4-12 months to begin fruiting, depending on conditions.
