A: This is our brand new website, just launched October 29th, 2008, so if you have not created an account since this date, you will want to do that now. Q: I want my order shipped to my Post Office Box but your site will not allow this.
A: We request a physical address whenever a Post Office Box address is given as your billing address in case we need to use UPS for a physical delivery. If you need your order shipped to your Post Office Box, please include a note with your order.

Q: Why is there not a place to put my zip code and state?
A: If you are unable to see a drop down menu for the states, this is due to JavaScript being disabled on your computer. In order to complete the process you are in, you will need to enable this program on your computer.

Q: I sent an email to you, but I have not received a response.
A: We try to respond to emails within 48 hours. If you do not receive a reply, spam filtering software may be blocking our email from ever getting to you. If you are expecting an email from us, but have not received a response within 2 business days, please feel free to call us at: 541-767-9606.

Q: Do you ship outside of the US and Canada?
A: We do ship internationally, but seed only. All orders outside the US and Canada require credit card payment. Special ordering and shipping regulations apply. The purchaser is responsible for any customs regulations. Please see our Shipping Policy.

A: Our goal is to ship orders within 3 business days. We will handle your order promptly and carefully. If an item is temporarily out of stock we will ship the remainder of the order, and then ship the delayed item as soon as it becomes available.

Q: Do you offer Rush Delivery?
A: Yes, we can ship your order next day, two day or three day via UPS, within the contiguous US. Please contact our office at (541) 767-9606 for a price quote. Q: What is Enhanced Service?
A: This would guarantee shipment of your order via UPS Guaranteed Day-Definite.

Q: What is Parthenocarpic?
A: This word literally means virgin fruit. Flowers on all Parthenocarpic plants will form fruit without fertilization/pollination. Parthenocarpic tomato plants are able to set fruit at cooler temperatures, giving you ripe tomatoes often 10 days to 2 weeks earlier than other types, depending on your weather. The first tomatoes on these vines will also be seedless. Later fruit from flowers that are pollinated will contain some seeds.

Q: What is Biodynamic?
A: Biodynamic agriculture is the oldest certified ecological farming system in the world, and has an assurance of quality since 1928. Founded by Austrian scientist and philosopher, Dr. Rudolf Steiner, this method regards the earth as a living organism and strives to renew the soil in order to produce food that is full of vitality and is deeply nourishing. Just as the USDA certifies seed as organic, the Demeter Association certifies seed as biodynamic. Unfortunately, biodynamic varieties cannot be sold as organic in the US since the Swiss and German farms that produced the seed are not USDA certified. Some varieties previously labeled Organic are now labeled Biodynamic. This is a pity for those of you who need certification papers for certified organic production. If you don't need the paperwork, grow and enjoy these wonderful selections by these dedicated seedsmen. Q: When will my garlic arrive?
A: Garlic is shipped only in the fall - late September or early October, depending on the season.
